This page reflects the current registration guidance for the fully virtual format of The ACM Web Conference 2026.
Registration - Virtual conference
Due to the current regional situation, the Organizing Committee has transitioned The ACM Web Conference 2026 to a fully virtual conference format. This change prioritizes the safety, accessibility, and global participation of all attendees while ensuring the continuity of the conference program.
All planned sessions, including keynotes, paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, and panels, will be delivered via a dedicated virtual platform. Detailed access instructions will be shared with all registered participants in advance.
Registration updates
All current registrations will stay valid as they are automatically transitioned to virtual attendance. Participants will receive further communication regarding scheduling, platform access, and usage instructions as the event date approaches.
The registration site will reopen shortly to allow new attendees to benefit from the revised registration fees indicated in the table below.
Refund Policy & Adjustments
Following the transition to a virtual format, the Organizing Committee has implemented a revised refund policy applicable to all registered participants. Please note that, as the conference is now less than one month away, full refunds are no longer available. Only partial refunds will be granted, corresponding to the difference between the in-person and virtual registration fees, as detailed below.

Revised Registration Fee Adjustment
All registered participants will receive a refund reflecting the difference between their original in-person registration fee and the revised virtual conference fees shown below, based on their respective registration category.
Important notes:
- Authors of published papers in the main or companion proceedings cannot benefit from the student or Web4All reduced rates.
- Web4All registrations give access only to the first 2 days of the conference. Other registered participants can virtually attend the full 5-day conference.

Refund Deductions
- A standard administrative fee of USD 10 will be charged per refund for all credit card payments.
- For payments made via bank transfer, bank processing charges imposed by the bank will apply in addition to the USD 10 administrative fee.
Refund Processing Timeline
Due to the high volume of transactions and the required validation procedures, participants are kindly requested to note the following:
- Refunds will be processed within 6 to 8 weeks after the conclusion of the conference.
- Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.
- Processing timelines may vary slightly depending on banking institutions or payment gateway processing cycles.
