The Web Conference 2026 Code of Conduct
The Web Conference 2026 is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual language and imagery is inappropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, social events, or social media platforms. Participants who violate these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund, at the discretion of the organizers.
Examples of harassment include, but are not limited to:
- Verbal comments that demean or marginalize individuals.
- Display of sexual images in public spaces
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
- Harassing photography or recording
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
- Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviors
Enforcement
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior must comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including issuing a warning or expelling the offender from the conference without a refund. If you are being harassed, witness harassment of others, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately.
Reporting
If you experience harassment or witness harassment of others, or have any other concerns, please report it immediately to the conference organizers. Conference staff will be clearly identified and available to assist. These rules apply at all conference and workshop venues, as well as at conference-related social events.
